Orbit Tropical Remix

DESCRIPTION:

Taste:
Gives you a fresh burst of the tropics using little bits of flavors like pineapple, orange, citrus, coconut, and maybe even a little bit of strawberry. Flavor lasts longer than most Orbit gum (surprised me!) and I chewed it all through the morning to see how long it lasted. I like this flavor better than most fruity gums because it has more variety. You can squeeze out many different kinds of fruit (let me know if you can find any more). I like also how it leaves your mouth fresh feeling. Orbit is doing a lot better than before with it's newer flavors. I mean, before they had everything as mint: Bubblemint, Cinnamint, Citrusmint, Maui Melon Mint, Strawberry Mint. Fruit and Mint do not sound good together, or taste good together. Still, without the mint, Orbit has succeeded in keeping the "Just brushed clean feeling" in their new fruit remix gums. It doesn't taste like toothpaste (yuck!), it just feels like you just ate a juicy pear or something and it was fresh and cool from your cooler. Or like you drank some ice-cold juice. It's pretty nice.

Texture:
It is a little stringy and tough after chewing for a while, but starts out a better. It's definitely not a bubble blower. It gets a little rougher after chewing for a while.

Design:
The Orbit packages of gum usually contain 14 pieces of gum, just like this flavor. Each piece of gum is individually wrapped in white wax-kind-of paper that has the "O" of Orbit stamped around the wrapper. The gum is then put inside an Orbit pack that has different designs that you can see here. The one I got has spots on it, but there are more designs too. Then that package is wrapped in another wrapper that hold the whole thing. This wrapper has the nutrition information and other things.

FACTS:
Bubbles: No
Sugar Free: Yes
Allergy Info: Contains: Soy Lecithin and Phenylalanine
Special Features: Different design on every pack.
Calories: Only 3!
Sugar Alcohol: 1 gram
Other: The Orbit logo is embossed on the pack. You can tell if you feel it. That's pretty much it.

5 Gum React Fruit

DESCRIPTION:
Taste:
Has a sweet "fruit" flavor that is hard to describe. The flavor lasts very long and has almost a Juicy Fruit flavor, but with a little more sour. I actually think it tastes like the Tic-Tacs (of course the orange ones). I was not as impressed with this flavor just because there are so many fruit flavors out there that taste like this one. They need to be more original.

Texture:
Like all 5 gums, 5 Gum React Fruit has a slightly tough feel to it that softens up while flavor dies away. If you press it onto your tongue like your going to blow a bubble (I call it bubble mode), it can get a little stringy. It later turns smoother so when you activate bubble mode you get it all flat. This gum isn't really a bubble blower though, and it kinda looks weird when you blow a bubble that's black anyway.

Design: The black-colored sticks of gum are wrapped in a black wrapper with the 5 logo going down it. 15 pieces are inside a Wrigley's Slim Pack with the 5 logo on it. Normally, the colors are on the right of the 5, but in the 5 React series, the colors are on both sides. It is a little like a hue change from purple to pink to red to orange and finally to yellow In some of the newest packages, there is a "thumb print" thing that changes color when heated. It changes from black to dark green with a little bit of orange in-between. I guess they just wanted to put something there to show how their gum "reacts".

FACTS:
Bubbles: No
Sugar-Free: Yes
Allergy Info: Contains: Soy Lecithin and Phenylalanine
Special Features: Thumb print that changes color located on opening tab.
Calories: 5 (you probably burn the calories just by chewing the gum)
Sugar Alcohol: 2 grams
Other: None

Extra Dessert Delights: Key Lime Pie

It took 87 chews for the strong flavor of this thing to die down. This is my favorite Dessert Delights gum. It has an amazing flavor of not only the key lime pie, but of the whipped cream too. You can taste the creaminess of it.The key lime part of the tastes like strawberry syrup, but replacing the strawberry with lime. It has a bit of a sour taste, but also has a good amount of sweetness to it. I think It tastes a lot like key lime pie. Extra Key Lime Pie has the strongest flavor of the Dessert Delights family. I think it's the dad. While the ice cream one is the dog.

Stride Forever Fruit

As iChew a piece of the Stride™ Forever Fruit, I try to decide how many stars I am going to take off of the Wrigley's™ Juicy Fruit! This gum resembles Juicy Fruit very much, but yet there is a pop to it that gives it a sweet taste that makes it unlike any other gum I have ever tasted! Once you pop the gum in your mouth, your mouth tingles with delight as the juicy flavor activates. It all tastes delicious! One bad thing is that after you chew it for over 12 hrs., it ends up without taste.

Wrigley's Juicy Fruit

I think Juicy Fruit should be called "Sugar Fruit". This yellow colored gum tastes as if it has a tropical banana fruit flavor, and then was dipped in sugar. I especially like this gum because of the strong flavor it shoots through your mouth. It lasts about as long as a piece of Stride™ gum, but the flavor burst fades out after a while.
